Big Idea:
The preeminence of God is attached to what we worship. We worship anything we think is the highest good/power/meaning/security/beauty. We can’t help it. We are worshipping beings. Without food, we eat poison. We will disorder our loves/beauties, often trying to get God to go along with our disordering and then get mad at Him when he doesn’t serve/give us the things we have put to displace them. Often good, good, things are used to things we “make” to replace Him at the top. These are essentially idols.
